A powerful story of American resilience.

One evening a woman confessed to her husband that she’d been unfaithful. The date was September 10, 2001.

The next morning, their private crisis was eclipsed by a national tragedy -- best known as 9/11. As the couple watches coverage on television, and works through their relationship, we meet various ordinary people affected by the event: a sportswriter, a firefighter, a woman rediscovering her faith, a graffiti artist, a street vendor selling American flags, an evangelist, and others.

Presented during the 25th anniversary of 9/11, this special revival honors the enduring spirit of those who lived through that unforgettable time.

SEPTEMBER 10 was first presented at the Group Rep in 2002, less than one year after the attacks, and returned in 2011 for the tenth anniversary. This new production offers audiences an opportunity to reflect on how tragedy can reshape lives while revealing the strength of the human spirit.
