Foster Cat Productions presents two plays in repertory.
Moby Dick - Rehearsed by Orson Welles, adapted from Herman Melville
AND
Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman
In Moby Dick - Rehearsed, a troupe of Shakespearean actors throw aside the script of King Lear during a rehearsal and at the whims of their leading man, attempt to stage the entire tale of the white whale in one rehearsal.
In Love, Loss, and What I Wore, our wardrobe is the time capsule of our lives. An all-female cast recounts the real stories of women, both touching and funny, through the context of what they were wearing. Dressing room anxiety, pressures from the status quo, or worse… mom.
Orson Welles is an American film director and actor (Citizen Kane).
Nora Ephron is an American screenwriter and rom-com legend (When Harry Met Sally).
Delia Ephron's work has been produced on Broadway (Left on Tenth).
Foster Cat Productions is having their biggest year yet. Collaborating with Oscar-winning producers, Emmy-winning writers and actors, they are dedicated to staging the lesser known works that deserve a wider audience.
