Foster Cat Productions is excited to join DC's SUMMER OF SUPERMAN with our mainstage musical...
It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman!
from Producer MacPac Entertainment, behind TONY-WINNING MUSICAL, BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB!>
Directed by Harry White and Raphael Berglas
From the Academy Award-winning writers of Bonnie and Clyde, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Superman (1978), and the composer of Annie and Bye Bye Birdie, comes a rarely seen musical, campy and fun, that brings the man of steel to the stage in a hilariously unique story that explores the differences of alter ego Clark Kent and who he becomes when he dons the famous "S". He's caught in a love triangle with Lois Lane and an overly ambitious Daily Planet reporter who is eager to leak Superman's true identity. All the while, a vengeful scientist plots something sinister...
This full-scale musical will have a live band playing the incredible compositions by Charles Strouse (Annie, Bye Bye Birdie).
Join us as we take Superman back to his roots... when saving the world was fun!
