Words and Music by STEPHEN SONDHEIM

Devised by Stephen Sondheim and Julia McKenzie

Orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick

Directed by Harry White

Oscar-winning producer Jonathan Sanger is helping bring this musical back to Hollywood after our brief run in October! This exciting revival is a remounting of the very first show by Foster Cat Productions.

This show is a two-act musical consisting of songs from various musicals by Stephen Sondheim, repurposed to form an entirely new story. Throughout the evening, two couples reflect on the complexities of modern relationships while a mysterious narrator observes. Featuring some of Sondheim’s most popular songs like Being Alive and Pretty Women, as well as some lesser known gems from Dick Tracy.

The artistic team is proud to put their love of animals on display by working with Best Friends Animal Society.

Produced by FOSTER CAT PRODUCTIONS, who recently sold out their Elaine May / Alan Arkin plays at the Groundlings. Other credits include one-acts by Ethan Coen (mentioned in the LA Times), Shel Silverstein and Wendy Wasserstein. In November we debuted a world premiere translation of a forgotten play by famous artist Pablo Picasso.
