Something In The Air
(Dramedy)
Winner of the Hollywood Fringe Festival Scholarship 2022
In the wake of the anti-Asian hate crimes across our country, Something In The Air is a play that focuses on the lives of eight very different Asian/Asian-American college students living in America. These eight individuals come from different walks of life and from all over the diaspora, representing the diverse realities of AAPI college students in the country. They arrive at the infamous Denver Airport, ready to take flight for spring break, and, given its otherworldly nature– are forced to deal with issues within fiction and reality.
A dark sci-fi tale of “spring break gone wrong” about identity, culture, stories, dreams, and the reality of living as a young Asian in America today.
