Oh Gosnell: A Show About the Truth
(Performance)

This Production is in New York City.

A staged reading of actual testimony from the trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

Oh Gosnell tells the true-crime story of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, owner of the Women’s Medical Society, a clinic in inner-city Philadelphia which turned out to be a murderous house of horrors.

The play is told verbatim: every word comes from Grand Jury and criminal trial transcripts. It tells the stories of actual people - patients, victims, co-workers and investigators - and the terrible crimes which sent Dr. Gosnell to prison for life. Gosnell touches on timely themes such as abortion, government responsibility, prescription drug abuse, politics, race and class.
