CYNDY A. MARION’S plays include: Broken Story (produced in NYC, LA, Chicago published by Off the Wall Plays), You Are Perfect (produced in NYC, Toronto, LA, Danville, IL published by Off the Wall Plays), The Edge (staged reading at Queen of Rogues, Woodstock, NY) and Dirty Laundry (winner of Synkroniciti magazine’s “Patterns” short play contest). Cyndy is the Producing Artistic Director of NYC’s White Horse Theater Company for which she has directed, produced and developed numerous plays. She is currently co-writing a new musical, NEWARK, with award-winning composer Nygel D. Robinson of Mexodus. BA Davidson

TAMARA RUPPART
(Director)
TAMARA RUPPART (Director) has worked as a director, producer and actor. Originally from NYC, she was a Stage Manager for Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, and once in Los Angeles, crew for over 100 episodes of network television. Film/TV directing credits include Rising Sun, Rising Soul (doc), Japanese-language film Path of Dreams (short) and Season 1 of Kool School (edu). Path of Dreams has won/been nominated for 17 awards, including Best Short, an Award of Excellence, and a Director’s Choice Award. Theater directing credits include Extinction (World Premiere), Kokoro (True Heart), Broken Story (LA, WHTC) and numerous productions for USC. Mary’s stage highlights range from Shakespeare, Chekov, Arthur Miller and many original works. As Artistic Director of Shakespeare Project LA, Mary and her friends and colleagues from across the country recorded the entire Shakespeare canon in 2020. CINDY D’ANDREA (Laney) An actor, writer, producer and 5-time Hollywood Fringe solo show performer. Credits include: Sweet Lorraine by Jan Buttram (30 minutes or Less Festival winner Best Two-Hander, Best Director); her solo show Cat Sh!t Crazy (Whitefire Solofest & Binge Fringe Festival winning Best of Audience & Edinburgh Fringe Festival, directed by the multi-award-winner Ann Noble). Cindy has also been featured in commercials, infomercials, TV, film, web series and print, including Italian Vogue. Member of The Actor’s Gang for many years, and part of The Rogue Machine’s Rant & Rave story telling series and Iron Skirts Stories Salon. APRIL MARTUCCI (Rebecca) a New York native, is delighted to appear as Rebecca in THISTLES. A graduate of SUNY Purchase and holder of an MFA in Fiction, she has dedicated her life to storytelling through movement, writing, and performance. A lifelong dancer and performer, she spent 15 years running her own business in New York, traveling extensively around the world. Now based in Los Angeles, she works in commercials, indie films, and collaborative creative projects. April is thrilled to be part of this production.

(Peter)
KEVIN MCKIM (Peter): Recent stage credits include: Sage Center, Behind the Curtain, Oh Dreidel, Steve’s Christmas, I Got Troubles, The Odd Couple among many others. He also acted in and produced The Viewing and The Last Pitch, and served as sketch director for the comedy group Brain Surgery, which performed regularly at The Comedy Store. Kevin has also appeared in various independent films and commercials, and produced and acted in the multi-nominated short films Durban Poison and In Pieces.
