SEAN BABCOCK
(Skip)
Sean has been on stage at The Group Rep Theatre, in Could I Have this Dance, and The Orphan's Revenge. He most recently played "Spike" in Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. In television, Sean has co-starred opposite John Goodman on THE CONNERS. Sean graduated from UCLA, where he was a key player on the school's storied rugby team, and a member of the SigEp fraternity. He still enjoys playing sports, and loves incorporating elements of athleticism into performances on stage and film. Sean thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show! :)

ANTHONY BACKMAN
(Cal)
Anthony is happy to be reunited with Sky Pilot and Jeff Goulds work having recently completed 3 runs of the hit A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Divorce where he played Ken and again in the cast of one acts Love, Sex and Marriage. Other productions with Sky Pilot include Detective Partner Hero Village (where he was nominated as best actor in the Valley Theater awards), Mermaid Wars, and Christmas 2. Anthony can also be found in the award winning motion picture A Girl, A Guy, A Space Helmet as the leading title character. Anthony would like to thank Jeff Gould and Shelby Janes for amazing creative opportunity and overall amazing human beings. Stay after the show and say hello!

DYLAN BOWERS
(Ryan)
Dylan grew up in Johnstown, Pennsylvania before moving to Florida in 2015. There he completed his degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida and studied acting at Truthful Acting Studios. He spent three years studying the Meisner and Chekhov Techniques. Dylan was signed by his first agent Professionally Pretty in 2019 and they continue to represent him today. When offstage he focuses on sports; mainly focusing on softball, baseball, golf, and bowling. Dylan’s fun fact is that he is an identical twin and his older siblings are twins as well.

AMBERLEE CLARK
(Riley)
Amberlee Clark is an actor, writer, and singer. In 2016 she moved from Texas to Los Angeles, and in 2019 she graduated with her B.F.A. in acting from AMDA. After graduating, Amberlee became involved with several small theatre companies around L.A., but SkyPilot is the very first one she joined. She has performed in SkyPilot's runway series and One-Act Play Festival. Amberlee is also the creator of NOTE Slam, a poetry event that showcases talented poets from all around LA. Most recently, she played Emilia in Othello. She is very excited to be back to perform on the SkyPilot stage.

KELLY DESARLA
(Beth)
Kelly DeSarla is excited to have another opportunity to work with the incredibly talented and amazing folks that make up The Skypilot Theatre Company. She made her Skypilot debut in 2022 with another Jeff Gould play, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Divorce as Carol (understudy). Other favorite credits include: All My Children, Randall Kleiser’s Virtual Reality Series Defrost (which debuted at Sundance in 2016), Henry Jaglom''s Irene in Time, and Henry Jaglom’s play Train to Zakopane, which ran in Los Angeles for 9 months and for which she won a Last Straw Award for best performance. JACEE JULE

Jacee is thrilled to be playing the role of “Liz” in The Marriage Zone again. She first did the play in 2017. She was a member of the Vagabond Players for 3 years and did numerous productions. She also did a series of commercials since the age of 5 and landed the role of “Ellen” on Days of Our Lives in 2009. Fun Fact: Jacee started singing at the age of 3 performing with a pet monkey.

CASSIDY LECLAIR

Cassidy LeClair is from Paso Robles, CA. She got her BA in Theater Arts from CSU Fresno. She last performed at the Group Rep Theater as Server in Four Top and Essie in You Can’t Take It With You. She’s a big fan of love, so this show has been an absolute blast. She’s never understood the saying “If you love them, let them go.” She thinks you should get off your booty and go get them. (She triple dog dares you to.) She’d like to thank her wonderful family and friends for the support and love they continue to give. Ian is thrilled to not only be back on stage in another SkyPilot production, but in another Jeff Gould play. He was last seen in Gould’s A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Divorce and hopes that they could be the next Scorsese and DiCaprio (though he’d settle for just DiCaprio).

TUDI ROCHE

Tudi’s credits include: 3 Broadway shows, several Off-Broadway, and around 30 regional theatres. She has appeared in film and television, including a recurring role on Home Improvement. She has an extensive list of voiceover for animation, spokesperson and video games. She also performed at The Edinburgh Festival, and was a guest vocalist with The Boston Pops. She is proud to be a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA unions. She is also proud to be a member of the SkyPilot Theatre Company!

Between Second City, IO West, and UCB, Ben has been studying/performing comedy for years! But is he actually funny? Ben attended SXSW this year for the premiere of the feature film Cotton Candy Bubble Gum which he has a large supporting role in. But, is Ben actually good at acting? Ben has a mustache. That’s just a fact.

and directing in 2005. Since then he has appeared in films, on TV, on the
internet and on stage. He joined SkyPilot Theatre Company in 2010 and has

SHELLY SNELLMAN
(Ellie)
Shelly Snellman is an actress/producer and co-founder of Robo & Bash Productions, a “mom and pop” shop that recently made a huge splash with its award-winning debut short A Blue Shroud (available on Amazon Prime). Shelly’s favorite theatre roles include Julia in 1984, Leila in Rope, and Janice in Crumble: Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake. Leading/Supporting roles in other Los Angeles productions include Drop Dead!, The Afflicted, An Italian American Reconciliation, Bus Stop, and many more. CORBIN TIMBROOK

Corbin is an award-winning actor with a career in Film, Television and Stage that spans over 40 years. He can be seen in Lifetimes, MURDER IN NASHVILL, IN LOVE WITH MY PARTNERS WIFE, STEPMOM FROM HELL, which he directed as well and Hallmarks, A CHRISTMAS VINTAGE. He has just wrapped DUST, from the critically acclaimed, award winning script , and is now filming the sweet Rom-Com, 60 DATES IN 60 DAYS. He loves working with SKYPILOT, saying Jeff Goulds' words and being with HIS soulmate, Shelby Janes.

LAURA WALKER

Laura Walker is so happy to help bring this fun piece to life. Recent credits include, Scars, Why?, It Crawls Beneath, Middleton Christmas, Younger, and Divorce During Pandemic. Ms. Walker looks forward to making her feature film biopic Fancy Meeting You Here with George Clooney directing. JEFF GOULD
(Director and Playwright)
Jeff has written, directed, and produced 6 plays about marriage. His second play, It’s Just Sex, is published by Samuel French. (Concord Theatricals) It has run a combined 4-years in Los Angeles, won “Best Original Production” of the year by the Valley Theatre League, and ran Off Broadway in New York, and in 4 other cities and 5 different countries. The Marriage Zone ran for 9-months in LA theatre and earned Jeff an award for “Best Writer of an Original Play” It has also run in Warsaw, Poland, and for an extended 7 month run in Sao Paulo, Brazil. A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Divorce completed an enormously successful 6-month run in Los Angeles, in 2002. Jeff’s plays have all been about marriage and sex, two things he someday hopes to be good at. In addition to playwriting, Jeff has had many articles published in the Card Player Magazine based on his career as a long-time professional poker player.

Shelby Janes is a member and acting Board President of SkyPilot Theatre Company, where she has performed and produced multiple productions. Morgan Benson is a member of SkyPilot Theatre Company, where she has performed in Buddies, and PAS DE DEUX. With her Master of Fine Arts in Acting, Morgan has performed in several shows including, Mamma Mia, Chicago, Into The Woods, Hamlet, and Barefoot in the Park. Aside from acting, she has worked behind the scenes as a producer, director, choreographer, costumer, and publicity manager. Morgan loves the theatre and is grateful for your support.
