SEAN DUBE
(David)
Sean is thrilled to be part of this production and SkyPilot Theatre, mostly because it
gives him a legitimate excuse to stay up past his child's bedtime. He was recently seen in The Cleaning
Lady (Fox), How It Ended (AFI), Bro Code (FILA Programmer's Choice), and his other credits include
theater in New York, theater in LA, a bunch of shorts, commercials, and that one indie film that the

JASON OWSLEY
(Adam)
Jason Owsley is an actor / writer based in LA. He’s performed in productions
and festivals all across the country. He’s a big fan of pop culture (a “connoisseur” perhaps?) and writes
for pop culture sites in his free time. Working on “Buddies” has been an incredible experience! Huge
shout out to the amazing cast & crew!

ALYSSA KLEIN
(Julia)
Alyssa is an actor, producer, and - most importantly - a clown. Recent stage,
screen, and VO credits include The Tempest, Yule: The Variety Show, and Private Detective Randy
Randy (available wherever you listen to podcasts). She’s currently working on her debut, solo show,
The Void, which will make its premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. A very special thanks to her
fiance?, Omar, family, friends, and this phenomenal ensemble. “Support” isn’t a strong enough word
for how uplifted I’ve felt through this process. Thanks to SkyPilot for the opportunity and for fostering
an incredible environment for artists to do what they do best: CREATE. Enjoy the show!

MORGAN BENSON
(Erica)
Hailing from Minnesota with her M.F.A. in Acting,
Morgan Benson, is thrilled to be a fresh Angeleno represented by Media Artists Group. Acting since 9
years old, Morgan has been in numerous productions including SkyPilot’s 2024 performance of PAS
de DEUX. Some of her other roles include Velma Kelly in Chicago, Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia,
and The Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods. In her free time Morgan enjoys reading, woodworking,
sewing, painting, playing volleyball and spending time at coffee shops with friends. Follow Morgan’s

TIM TROBEC
(Jake)
This is Tim's second production with Skypilot Theater and he is excited for the opportunity to work
with such a talented group of people again. Tim moved to LA from Minnesota and has amassed over
55 credits on IMDb. His credits include Brooklyn Nine Nine, Parks and Recreation, Justified, iCarly
and the Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter. The credit he is most proud of is, The Riches in which he sang
Paradise By The Dashboard Light with Minnie Driver, dressed as Meatloaf for a costume party.
Besides acting, Tim is also a high school football coach at Hart High School in Santa Clarita. He thanks
you for coming and enjoy the show.

MELANIE UBA
(Keley)
Melanie Uba (she/her) is excited to make her SkyPilot debut as Kelsey. A true
Valley girl and baby sister at heart, she’s excited to bring this character to life. Usually a musical girly,
previous shows include Newsies, Guys and Dolls, Legally Blonde, Oklahoma!, Beauty and the Beast,
and The Sound of Music. A heartfelt thanks to her family and friends who are always in full support of

JON PAUL BURKHART
(Billy)
Jon Paul Burkhart hails from Dallas, TX and has his BFA from The
University of Oklahoma. Jon Paul has produced two feature films, Sick For Toys (2018) and ROAD
HEAD (2021), both available on multiple platforms. As an actor Jon Paul can be seen in 9-1-1, Perry
Mason, SEAL Team, GLOW, This Is Us, Major Crimes, The Middle, Castle, American Horror Story,
Parks and Recreation, Bones, Terriers, How I Met Your Mother and ER. Film roles include: Sick For
Toys, Jersey Boys, Mr. Brooks, Fright Flick and Spirit Camp. Favorite theatre roles include Chicago
The Musical, Amadeus, The Last Five Years, The Underpants, Forever Plaid, and Waiting for Godot.

VINCENT DOUD
(Swing (Billy, Adam))
Vincent is an LA based actor and writer, hailing from the cornfields of Iowa. He moved to the
West Coast after finishing his education at the University of Iowa in 2019. Since then, he has
appeared in many Theatre productions around the city, including roles in "Hooded or Being
Black for Dummies" @ the Echo Theatre Company, "Proof" @ Dig Deep Theatre in Santa
Clarita, and is a writer and performer in the Sketch comedy group, "Who Does That?".
Vincent is excited and honored to be working with the talented Sky Pilot team on this hilarious
play and would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting live theatre!

PIPER MAJOR
(swing (Erica, Julia))
Piper Major - a Los Angeles based actor, has been honing her craft since the age of five, appearing on
New Girl, Parks and Recreation, Nocturnal Animals, and recently on the miniseries The Dropout. She
emerged from the COVID lockdown a multi hyphenate - actor/writer/director/ producer - after creating
a vlog called “Find Love in the Time of Quarantine,” took that footage and created a short film that has
won several awards. Piper is excited to have joined SkyPilot Theater and honored to be part of this

JOHN KLENK
(Swing (David, Jake))
John Klenk is thrilled to be working with Skypilot again after taking
the stage as part of the one- act festival What If...? last year. His other stage Credits include A
Midsummer Night's Dream at the Let Live theater for the 2024 Hollywood Fringe and The Fire-Relief
Fundraiser Variety Show with Worst Ever productions. Film credits include Angels and the Bad Man

KELSEY DOUGHERTY
(Producer)
Kelsey is an award winning actor and screenwriter. Her 2023 film
Stars Behind the Clouds garnered 18 nominations and 12 wins across the festival circuit including
best screenplay, best actress, and best romantic comedy. She was recently seen on the SkyPilot
stage in this past Halloween’s sketch comedy show as well as in Newsies at the El Portal.
This is her third time producing for Skypilot and she would like to thank the cast and crew for all

MORRIS SCHORR
(Director)
Morris Schorr has degrees in Theater from Binghamton University and the University of Illinois. He has been directing stage plays in Los Angeles since 1970. Theater companies forwhom he has directed include Theater Rapport, The Company of Angels, La Mama Hollywood and SkyPilot Theatre Company. He is delighted with the opportunity to direct this funny and thought provoking play and to have access to the talented actors of this company. He hopes you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed presenting it.

TINA WALSCH
(Assistant Director)
TINA WALSCH (Assistant Director/Lighting & Sound Tech) Having spent most of her time on the stage,
Tina is thrilled to help guide the many talented thespians of SkyPilot Theatre Company for Buddies. She
has performed in several of the company’s productions since joining in 2014, including favorites: The
Bitch Is Back, This is Banned, The Mermaid Wars, Larva, and Keith Haring: Pieces of a Life; and is excited
for the opportunity to bring her years of experience to this play. Her previous directorial adventures
include the one-act play Toast during SkyPilot’s 2023 season and several short films. She is also proud to
have supported the wonderful cast of Jeff Gould’s A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Divorce as
