PAUL GANUS
(Uncle Ben)
Paul was born sometime in the 1960’s and as legend has it, was raised by a pack of wolves in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near the shores of Lake Superior. While the pack finished devouring a wayward hiker, Paul discovered a copy of Waiting For Godot in the unfortunate adventurer’s backpack, and thus began his theatrical interest. After shedding his loin cloth for flannels, jeans and boots, he moved to Chicago, worked as a stuntman, singing waiter and studied improv at Second City and liquid molecular gastronomy in the center field bleachers with Bill Veeck at Wrigley.
Sometime during the 80’s, good fortune smiled upon him when he met and
married his beautiful wife of 35 years, actress/entrepreneur, Ellen Bradley, and they moved to SoCal.
Through the 90’s and beyond, by hook or by crook, he learned to work on various gobbledygook; Theater, TV, Commercials and Film projects in exotic locales like Noho, Chatsworth, and even as far away as Pacoima. Sometimes he was cast as the hero, sometimes a villain, other times comic relief.
Recently, he has allegedly been heard howling at Sennheiser Microphones in notorious booths and studios around town - voicing animation, video games, political ads, commercials and dubbing foreign films. Paul dedicates his performances during this run to his amazing children, Spencer and Tyler, and his wonderful mother, Louise.
