TUESDAY CONNER (Creator & Executive Producer) Costume Designer by Trade and a Writer at Heart, Tuesday steps out on a limb and directs her first short film Young & Na!ve. Immediately Tuesday becomes an International Award Winning Filmmaker. Her intensity as a Fashion Designer catches on fire as a Writer. Tuesday is the Founder of Poet’s Jazz House and Inner City Cultural Center II. Conner is in bliss producing biographies at the Willie Agee Playhouse, what started as a one-night stand is in its second year. She’s on fire blazing a trail with a fierce band of poets.

Producing since the age of seventeen at the Foxx Follies Theatre Tuesday has dedicated her life to providing artists a space to learn and grow and a place to perform and sell their art. This freelance multimedia powerhouse producer's creative vision has a long track record of successfully guiding a wide variety of projects from development to completion; from Award Shows to Short Films and Documentaries. L.A. Weekly wrote Tuesdays comedy club was the hottest in The Valley, Chris Spencer said it was FIRE and CBS wrote Poets Jazz House is one of the coolest poetry lounges in the country. Tuesday Conner is an Inner City Cultural Center Alumnus.

GIA SCOTT-HERON (Poet & Producer) Gia Scott-Heron, daughter of the legendary poet Gil Scott-Heron is affectionately known as Miss Gia is an award-winning essayist, slam poet, spoken word, and recording artist. She has been interviewed and featured in numerous publications, including the Los Angeles Times' Entertainment section and various radio stations. Gia writes and performs poetry in honor of her father’s legacy. Her recent release is entitled “The Difference” and is available on iTunes and CdBaby.com.

ART.US MANSOIR (Poet & Musician) Singer, Poet and Musician from Leimert Park Village where he performs regularly. Art.us studied music at L.A.C.C. where he received an Associate of Arts degree in music and commercial voice. Art.Us is continuing his studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

He has a poetry CD entitled "Muse (life is)". He is currently working on an upcoming project called "Why Christ died" A Praise Poetry Project". Art.Us Mansoir likes to mix music with poetry and song to create his eclectic and unique style. Inspired by one of his greatest influences Gil Scott-Heron, who also uses this same formula.

Some of Art.Us Mansoir's other influences include but not limited to: Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye and Prince, as well as a plethora of artists ranging from gospel to Hip Hop. Art.Us Mansoir is a stage name and it simply means: With ART and US MAN SOARS HIGHER aka Art.Us Mansoir.

YAWO WATTS (Poet & Percussionist) Yawo is the creator of The Oralgasm. An intimate night of erotic poetry, music, love and romance. This sexy and sophisticated showcase offers a sensual something for everyone who wants to feel good. Yawo earned the Moniker of “The Marvin Gaye of Poetry” by his peers-and it’s quoted: As usual, Mr. Watts pleases all of my 5 senses".


He’s a creative Artisan and Djembe Drummer with a strong desire to serve the world through creativity and kindness. Yawo fulfilled a lifelong passion and self-publishing Lemongrass. His collection of poetry was written over 15 years and inspired by life's love, loss and lessons. Yawo is currently working on his second volume of poetry and cherishes studying poetry at The World Stage in Leimert.

LORENZO FRANK (Spoken Word Artist) Legendary Los Angeles Poet Lorenzo Frank is an extremely popular and well respected writer, actor and spoken word artist. Through his genuine love of the arts he has provided space and opportunity for literally hundreds of poets to share their voice. Currently Lorenzo continues to serve his community by hosting one of the longest running poetry venues in Los Angeles, SWAAM which is an acronym for Spoken Word Art & Music. His most recent work is a children's book published with his daughter Nzinga, entitled "Nzinga Teaches/Learns A Lesson". It can be found on Amazon as well as his website.

An example of Black Excellence Lorenzo hopes to change the world for the better one poem at a time. Catch Lorenzo at SWAAM. 1st and 3rd Fridays at Barbara Morrison PAC in Leimert for a night of Spoken Word, Art And Music.

CONNEY WILLIAMS (Spoken Word Artist) A Los Angeles based poet, actor and performance artist originally from Shreveport, Louisiana where he worked as a radio personality. He recently released two critically acclaimed cds of his poetry accompanied by music: “Unsettled Water” and “River & Moan."

He has performed his poetry on television, radio stations (KJLH, KPFK), at noted universities (USC, UCLA, Claremont, CSLB, Antioch, CS-Northridge and others), cultural events & organizations (Black Arts Festival, CAAM), for the City & County of Los Angeles, across the U.S., and he regularly curates poetry events in Los Angeles and The World Stage. An Inner City Cultural Center Alumnus.

LYNNE CONNER (Director & Producer) Lynne currently directs and produces for ICCC2 at the Willie Agee Playhouse, most recently BLUESOLOGY a Tribute to Gil Scott-Heron. She started the year at Sundance and she is ending the year Booked for a Pharma Commercial in SF. She is in the 2023 film by Van Elder KINGS OF L.A. streaming on Roku. Lynne is in YOUNG, WILD, FREE directed by Thembi Banks which Premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2023. Her goal is to continue soaring, healing and telling the truth as an actress and director. Check out the YouTube series M.A.D. (Mom’s A Diva) by Paris Nicole. An alum of Inner City Cultural Center Lynne directs and produces short films, her film RAISING KINGS, and the international award winning short YOUNG & NAIVE by sister Tuesday Conner. Lynne, an actress and producer on the short THE DRAGONFLY TALE by Lorey Hayes is winning awards across the country. Theatre includes performances with the Black Creators Collective presenting live theatre throughout L.A.. An Inner City Cultural Center Alumnus.
